DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Revolver (pronounced: RAY-volver) in Spanish means to mix it up, which is exactly what former Univision executive and podcast market pioneer, Jack Hobbs, is doing with the launch of Revolver Podcasts. The multicultural-targeted, bi-lingual audio on-demand network offers listeners the ability to enjoy a variety of on-demand programs.
We’re live! Revolver Podcasts launches multicultural-targeted, bi-lingual audio on-demand network
Revolver Podcasts is building a community that inspires and empowers audiences to explore and pursue their passions. Its system enables people across the world to discover, share and create content: a perpetual generator of experiential, social, digital, mobile and traditional media platforms.
“Entertainment is changing! We live in a mobile, social, on-demand world. Our listeners can enjoy their favorite Spanish or English programs in their car, at work or anywhere their day takes them,” said Hobbs, President, Revolver Podcasts. “Our audio content network is home to the top TV, radio and digital stars, across all channels and within all content. We are dedicated to creating premium programming and building lasting brand extensions with our audiences. This is an exciting time in the digital space for sales extensions in a creative environment.”
Building on the president’s experience in Hispanic broadcasting, Hobbs, who forged the podcast market in 2005, teamed up with Jeff Hinson and Javier Saralegui, all of whom are former Univision executives, to create a digital audio network connecting consumers with custom and unique content nationwide by merging data and creativity. The company is also working with partners to concept, co-develop, create and distribute data-inspired content across a wide range of topics including: news, music, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, health and fitness, automotive, finance, technology and many more.
Within days of forming, Revolver Podcasts signed 30 shows, and aligned itself with ITunes, Stitcher and Google Play (coming soon).

“Our consumers have the ability to listen to the type of programming they want with only four advertising breaks per show, which means more enjoyment, more content and more knowledge gained from their experience. And for our advertisers, we offer them the opportunity to reach a highly targeted market and highly savvy consumer who is interested in, and wants their products and services,” stated Hobbs. “Additional programs and digital stars will be announced in the coming weeks.”
An added, exciting feature of RevolverPodcasts.com is Festnet, which is the first, global, digital video network that live streams premium, multicultural music festivals across the country. Festnet produces, publishes, distributes and licenses these impactful, authentic and culturally relevant programs through all media channels and on all types of devices.
“We have fantastic relationships with multicultural music festivals across the country that have given us access to live video stream their event. People who cannot attend a specific music festival can still enjoy seeing their favorite bands and singers live with Festnet. We’re thrilled about this programming and will also be announcing specific festivals in the coming weeks,” commented Hobbs.
