Film Festival Radio is a half hour talk show that features interviews with A-list celebrities from film, TV, and music. The show also has independent film makers with films that are showcased in film festivals plus, the show also covers film festivals and other major entertainment events. The provides news about auditions and tryouts for new films and TV shows.
Janice Malone has worked as an entertainment reporter for print, radio, television and internet broadcasting. She’s hosted and produced Film Festival Radio Show since 2007. Ms. Malone is on the advisory board of the Bel Air Film Festival in Los Angeles, and the board of the Pocono Mountains Film Festival. Malone was first introduced to internet broadcasting by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and his business partner Todd Wagner. Cuban and Wagner gave Malone her first internet show that led to her getting national publicity in Entertainment Weekly magazine, CNET television network and many other media, along with having Microsoft sponsor the show to air live from the Grammy Awards.
Other previous experience includes: Host of 3 radio specials for Blog Talk Radio Network 2 hour specials sponsored by AT & T that had over 1 million listeners. She was a substitute host of Talk of the Town, radio show which aired on KLAV radio Las Vegas. Additional experience includes: reporter for the National Enquirer and The Globe tabloids; entertainment editor for Tennessee Tribune Nashville; weekly entertainment reporter for ABC Radio (Dallas, TX) and as an entertainment reporter for KGBS radio, in Dallas when it was a CNN affiliate; Ms. Malone was signed as a writer with the William Morris Agency (New York); United Colours Management (Melbourne, Australia) and The Fogelman Literary Agency (Dallas, TX). She has traveled on assignment internationally to various countries covering entertainment events, such as the BFI London Film Festival, the opening of the ABBA Museum in Stockholm, Sweden and many other events.
